I edited the post below to contain a looping version of the animation. It is, as you may have guessed, a walk cycle. Today I'm just about done with the run cycle. Check it out!
The name comes from a nickname that crops up often. I'm an Edward by birth, and a Ted by circumstance. When friends find this out they come up with Tedward, which I have since decided is a direction. It's not as definitive as North or West. But if you had a compass that pointed Tedward, presumably it would point toward me.
