I just want to say that it's looking really good. One change I think you should consider is about the weight of the mace. He uses two hands to attack with it, making it look really heavy... but then he flicks it up into the air easily with one hand. Maybe try having him lift it with both hands and/or not lifting it so high.
The name comes from a nickname that crops up often. I'm an Edward by birth, and a Ted by circumstance. When friends find this out they come up with Tedward, which I have since decided is a direction. It's not as definitive as North or West. But if you had a compass that pointed Tedward, presumably it would point toward me.
